Cmdre. Liam Brett RIP

ARCO regrets to inform its members of the death of Commodore William John (Liam) Brett of Glounthaune, Co. Cork and formerly of Lucan, Co. Dublin and Cappauniac, Cahir, Co Tipperary. On February 20th, 2015, (peacefully), surrounded by his family, in the tender and compassionate care of the Sisters, nursing and care staff of Bon Secours Care Village, Mount Desert, Cork. Loving husband of the late Eileen (nee Twomey) and dear father of Bríd, Denise, Martin and Joseph. He will be sorely missed for his love, life and leadership by his children, son-in-law Seán, grandchildren Róisín, Deirdre and Gearóid Cottrell, Amy and Richard Brett, nieces, nephews, relatives and a wide circle of neighbours and friends.

Reception prayers this Saturday evening at 7.00pm in the Sacred Heart Church, Glounthaune. Requiem Mass on Monday at 11.00am followed by burial in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Little Island. Strictly no flowers at Liam's request. Donations in lieu to the R.N.L.I.

Col. Liam Young RIP

ARCO regrets to inform its members of the death of Colonel Liam Young, Hawkfield, Newbridge, Co. Kildare on Sunday, December 14, 2014. Peacefully, after an illness borne with great dignity. Deeply missed by his loving wife Mary and children Stephen, Oonagh, Eoin and Gavin, daughters-in-law Ann and Patricia, darling grandchild Ciara, brother Brendan, sister Sheila, sister-in-law, brother-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives and wide circle of very dear friends and colleagues.

Reposing at his home on Tuesday evening from 5pm until 8pm. Removal on Wednesday morning at 10.15am to arrive at St. Brigid's Church, The Curragh Camp for 11am Mass, with funeral afterwards to Newlands Cross Crematorium arriving at approx. 1.45pm. Family flowers only please. Donations, if desired, to Muscular Dystrophy Ireland. Donation box in the Church.
