Comdt. Bill Dillon RIP

RIP

ARCOIreland regrets to inform its members of the death of Commandant William (Bill) Dillon, formerly of Peck’s Lane, Castleknock and Collins Barracks, Dublin. On January 19th 2018, peacefully, in the care of his family and the staff at Tara Winthrop Nursing Home; beloved husband of the late Nora and loving father of Liam, Gretta and Kieran. Predeceased by his daughter-in-law Ger, grandsons Ciaran and William and sister Mai. Very sadly missed by his family, daughter-in-law Niamh, son-in-law Brian, grandchildren Ciara, Oisin and Aisling, sister Rita, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Bill had a long association with the Eastern Command and in particular with Collins Barracks, Dublin.

Removal on Tuesday, 23rd January to Our Lady Mother of the Church, Castleknock arriving at 9.50 am for funeral Mass at 10 am, followed by burial in Glasnevin Cemetery. Family flowers only please. Donations, if desired, to “CanTeen” Ireland, Carmichael Centre, Dublin 7.
