RIP

ARCOIreland regrets to inform its members of the death of Commodore William John (Liam) Brett of Glounthaune, Co. Cork and formerly of Lucan, Co. Dublin and Cappauniac, Cahir, Co Tipperary. On February 20th, 2015, (peacefully), surrounded by his family, in the tender and compassionate care of the Sisters, nursing and care staff of Bon Secours Care Village, Mount Desert, Cork. Loving husband of the late Eileen (nee Twomey) and dear father of Bríd, Denise, Martin and Joseph. He will be sorely missed for his love, life and leadership by his children, son-in-law Seán, grandchildren Róisín, Deirdre and Gearóid Cottrell, Amy and Richard Brett, nieces, nephews, relatives and a wide circle of neighbours and friends.

Reception prayers this Saturday evening at 7.00pm in the Sacred Heart Church, Glounthaune. Requiem Mass on Monday at 11.00am followed by burial in St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Little Island. Strictly no flowers at Liam’s request. Donations in lieu to the R.N.L.I.
