Appeal for Material – Curragh Musical Society 1956-1979

Joe Connolly is compiling a History of the Curragh Musical Society 1956 – 1979 and is looking for copies of Programmes, Photographs, and Memories from those shows. He will scan and return any material forwarded to him. Items can always be sent to Joe by e mail.

Joe may be contacted by e mail at playlight@eircom.net. You can also text him at 0872229470. There must be many memories out there from these wonderful productions – please share them with Joe.

Local History Societies have given him great encouragement. This material should be recorded or it will be lost for ever. Joe received a very positive reaction to the Drama History he published “PURE DRAMA from behind the Spotlight” and KennyBooks.ie – Galway have placed it in a number of Libraries in the U.S.A.
