Temporary Positions at Irish UN Mission

Applicants will be deployed on the basis of an independent contract of limited duration, and will not be entitled to civil service status. Serving State and local authority employees are required to provide confirmation in writing that they have received approval from their employer before applications will be considered.

Comdt. Morgan Sparrow R.I.P.

ARCO regrets to inform its members of the death of Commandant Morgan Sparrow, Air Corps, of Moorefield Park, Newbridge, Co. Kildare and late of the Curragh Camp.  On 5th May 2012, at Blanchardstown Hospital, following a road accident.  Deeply regretted by his loving parents Gerry and Frances, brothers David and Mark, sister Carol, partner Anne, sisters-in-law, nephews, niece, Defence Forces colleagues, relatives and friends. 

Reposing at Anderson & Leahy Funeral Home Newbridge from 4 pm on Monday, 7 May, with rosary at 7.30 pm.  Removal on Tuesday morning, 8 May, at 10.30 am to arrive at St. Conleth's Parish Church for 11.00 am Mass.  Funeral afterwards to St. Conleth's Cemetery, Newbridge.  Family flowers only, please.  Donations, if desired, to Barnardos Children's Charity.

CAOGA Update April 2012
